Silver

Origin of the flag colors
It is said that blue is the color of the sky and yellow is the color of wheat fields .
Ukraine has few mountains and a lot of flat land.
When harvest time comes, the colors of the flag come together.
A beautiful blue and yellow landscape unfolds before your eyes.

I myself visited Ukraine in October 2021.
Beautiful scenery and delicious food,
And I came into contact with the kind Ukrainian people.
It has become a country I really love.
I want you to know a little bit about Ukraine.
Let me introduce it here!
■ Traditional Ukrainian painting Petrykivka

This painting is entirely hand painted.
I was also taught how to paint by a local artist.
I use a very soft brush and blend the colors to create detailed results.
The way he depicted the gradations and the fine details of the leaves was truly amazing!
■Ukrainian cuisine [Derni]

What comes to mind when you think of Ukrainian cuisine?
Borsch, cabbage rolls (Ukrainian food!)...
I love them all, but the one I'm most obsessed with is this one, Derni!
It's potato pancakes.
It's a simple dish made with grated potatoes and flour, but it's so delicious!
At this restaurant, it was topped with fried onions.
It can be eaten with soup or with smetana (similar to yogurt in Japan).
■Ukrainian beer is sold by weight!
They have a wide variety of craft beers, and they even sell beer by weight.
They will pour the amount you want directly from the barrel into a plastic bottle.
A system that lets you order as much as you want.
There was even a store selling wine by weight!
■Ukrainian churches have gold roofs

There are many churches in Ukraine, all in beautiful locations.
And the roof is shining gold.
The reason is that it is so that God can easily see it from the sky.
I was really touched by this meaning, especially since this is a place where so many people pray.
It's such a wonderful country that I can't even describe it all.
A place with a lot of history.
The more I know, the more I like it.
That it's such a wonderful place
I want as many people as possible to know about this.
And I hope that this war will end as soon as possible.
I sincerely hope so.
